Give Graves a water gun and he becomes the loudest person at the pool. Give him a dragon-shaped cannon and he looks like he robbed a museum. The weapon does much of the storytelling, which is why Crime City’s drum-fed gun and flat cap make such a convincing pair.
Crime City is our best Graves skin overall. It keeps him a recognizable criminal and gives the gun a distinctive shape without surrounding it with magic. Sentinel takes second for the broader animation work and new voice, while Battle Professor and Pool Party are the best alternatives when you want a less familiar version of the character.
All 13 standalone PC Graves skins are included. We checked Riot’s Graves catalog on September 5, 2026, using Data Dragon 16.17.1. Chromas are not separate skins, and Graves has no Prestige edition in this roster. The order weighs character design, the weapon, and documented cosmetic features. Any RP figures below are dated reference prices from Riot’s announcements, not verified current shop offers.
Four Graves skins worth comparing first
13. Jailbreak Graves

Jailbreak is an odd halfway point between a fugitive and a science-fiction villain. The pale hair, green-lit equipment, and dark armor make Graves look altered by his imprisonment. That is more interesting than simply putting him in an orange jumpsuit, but the bright technology fights with the rugged gunman underneath it.
The costume suggests a larger transformation than the audio delivers. The current client definition retains Graves’s standard voice and sound effects, so the glowing equipment does not come with a new sci-fi soundscape.
Choose Jailbreak for the escaped-experiment look. Hired Gun is a more convincing practical loadout, and Praetorian carries the technological makeover much further. Jailbreak finishes last because it sits between those two directions without being the most appealing version of either.
12. Hired Gun Graves

Hired Gun looks ready for a demolition contract. The goggles, sleeveless vest, dog tags, and ammunition replace the default cape with equipment that has an obvious purpose. The large silver gun keeps the costume from looking completely anonymous.
Hired Gun keeps Graves’s standard voice and sound effects. The mercenary clothes are the attraction, especially if you find the enchanted weapons and elaborate costumes further up this list distracting.
The drawback is character. Remove the cape and put Graves in military gear, and some of his scruffy outlaw charm goes with it. Crime City also looks professional, but the cap, vest, and drum-fed gun tell a more specific story.
11. Cutthroat Graves

The pirate version makes immediate sense. Graves gets rough seafaring clothes and a wide-muzzled gun that looks as though it has spent years around salt water. The shared illustration even lets Twisted Fate draw attention in the foreground while Graves supplies the heavy weapon from the left.
Cutthroat is a costume-first skin. Galetta’s July 2015 PBE announcement introduced new models and textures for Cutthroat Graves and Cutpurse Twisted Fate, with a planned price of 750 RP each. Graves’s current files retain the base voice and sound effects.
That modest scope is fine if you want the pirate outfit. The trouble is that an armed criminal running around a port is already close to Graves’s usual territory. Cutthroat is appropriate, but it lacks the sharp visual distinction that moves Crime City to the top.
10. Riot Graves

Putting Graves on the other side of the law is a better joke than it first appears. The helmet, sunglasses, padded equipment, and heavy weapon turn the outlaw into the person sent to stop him. The outfit is bulky, but the gun still gets enough room to be the main attraction.
There is an actual audio difference to go with it. Riot Graves’s current skin data includes skin-specific basic-attack and critical-attack sound events alongside the base voice. The gun has its own sound treatment, even though Graves keeps his familiar voice.
Its event history is separate from that design. Riot’s current skin description ties it to meeting a Rioter or attending an official event in 2012. That is an origin story, not an instruction for obtaining it now.
If it is already in your collection, it offers a good tactical look. It ranks below the more adventurous skins because the protective clothing hides much of Graves’s personality; the uniform becomes more memorable than the man wearing it.
9. Victorious Graves

Victorious is not subtle about the trophy theme. A gold lion sits on his shoulder, a purple cape hangs behind him, and the gun receives enough gold trim to belong in a presentation case. The decoration suits a ranked reward, even if it makes Graves look unusually ceremonial.
Riot’s 2017 ranked-reward announcement tied this skin to finishing that season in Gold or higher. Extra chromas reflected qualifying queues. Those colors are not separate skins, and reaching Gold today does not retroactively complete the 2017 requirement.
The attraction is strongest when the skin represents your own season. Without that connection, EDG’s dark outfit and pale hair make a less cumbersome commemorative design. Victorious looks dressed for the award ceremony; EDG looks dressed to leave it.
8. EDG Graves

EDG recognizes Flandre’s Graves in the team’s 2021 Worlds victory. The white hair, dark blue-and-black outfit, and broad fur collar give him a severe, almost aristocratic appearance. Graves stands at the back right of the team illustration, not in the central position.
The skin does not rely only on the team branding. Riot DW Platypus’s April 2022 feature post confirms new models, effects, sound, and a recall. It also explains that the Worlds skins represent the winners’ wishes and feedback.
EDG is a useful middle option between the relatively grounded Crime City and the supernatural Sentinel. The clothing is elaborate without turning Graves into a robot or replacing his gun with a recognizable toy. That makes it the strongest commemorative choice here if the colors and team association appeal to you.
The white hair and dark finery look handsome, but the gun and costume do not have quite the same immediate connection as Pool Party’s water blaster or Battle Professor’s classroom arsenal.
7. Porcelain Graves

Porcelain has one of the most extravagant guns in the wardrobe. The white dragon head, blue ornament, and glowing energy make it look like a valuable artifact that someone has decided to use as a firearm. The coat and white streak of hair carry those colors back into Graves’s design.
The dragon is striking enough to pull attention away from the gunman. Crime City’s weapon looks like something Graves would choose for work. Porcelain’s looks like something he might sell after the job.
Riot’s February 2024 PBE thread lists custom models, visual effects, sound, and a recall. Its final update also records sound adjustments for patch 14.5. This is a themed effects package, not just white-and-blue clothing.
Choose Porcelain if the oversized artifact is what interests you. It ranks below Praetorian because the machine’s cannon and body belong to the same threatening design; Porcelain makes the weapon so decorative that Graves starts to look like its attendant.
6. Praetorian Graves

Praetorian takes the most drastic route: remove the man. The beard, expression, and clothes give way to dark metal, red lights, and a cannon attached to a walking combat machine. The result is less charming than ordinary Graves, but considerably more committed than Jailbreak’s partly futuristic outfit.
The audio changes with it. Unlike the base-voice skins above, Praetorian’s current client definition points to its own voice bank. Riot KiWiKiD’s October 2018 PBE post separately documented new visual effects and sound for all spells, plus a new recall, with a planned price of 1,350 RP.
The cannon and mechanical body look built for the same purpose. Where Porcelain is decorative, Praetorian looks manufactured for a fight. It is the strongest option if you want a machine instead of another human Graves costume.
The cost is losing the person who makes Graves entertaining. Sentinel adds a new performance to that character; Praetorian discards the familiar face. That is a good reason to own it as a change of pace, but a harder sell as the only Graves skin you use.
5. Snow Day Graves

Snow Day is the rare holiday costume that dresses Graves sensibly. The warm coat, hat, and mittens look appropriate for someone who intends to stay outdoors. Then he produces an enormous orange snowblower gun, and the sensible part ends.
The joke carries into the abilities. In the 2016 PBE feature post, Riot Lovestrut documented snow effects, snow-blowing and penguin sounds, and skin-specific animation work, with a planned price of 1,350 RP.
This is a better fit for Graves than the usual pile of seasonal decorations would be. The broad coat preserves his bulky shape, and the absurd gun still looks like heavy equipment. It changes the ammunition’s theme while keeping the character’s enthusiasm for excessive firepower.
Pool Party narrowly wins the weather-themed comparison. The water gun is an even simpler visual joke, and its dive variations add more personality to the trip back to base. Snow Day is the one to choose if you prefer the bundled-up outfit to bare shoulders and swim shorts.
4. Pool Party Graves

Pool Party keeps enough of Graves to make the ridiculous parts work. He still has the beard and the oversized weapon; the shorts, towel, and sunglasses suggest that he has brought the same attitude on vacation. The blue-and-yellow water gun is unmistakable without needing much decoration.
Riot’s September 2013 launch description specifies water-themed particles and a recall with one of four dives. That variation is not just an old promotional claim: the current animation data still has four recall lead-outs selected by the recall sequence.
There is also dedicated sound work for the water gun, including attack, pump, and reload events in the current client. Graves reloads throughout a match, so putting the joke into the weapon’s repeated actions matters more than adding a beach-themed background to the splash.
Pool Party is the strongest deliberately silly choice because the whole premise can be understood at a glance. A huge real gun becomes a huge water gun, and the dangerous outlaw becomes the person taking a pool game far too seriously. Snow Day needs a little more seasonal context; Pool Party does not.
Choose Battle Professor over it if you want the humor without the swimwear. Choose Pool Party if you want the greatest contrast with default Graves while still recognizing the man underneath the outfit.
3. Battle Professor Graves

A professor who brings this much firepower to class is a character worth dressing up. The glasses, red hair, formal coat, and white gloves make Graves look stern rather than scruffy. The angular energy shotgun is still far too large to qualify as a teaching aid.
The recall makes the premise concrete. Riotgrumbojr’s April 2019 PBE announcement specifically calls out paper airplanes, alongside new particles and sound. It announced the skin at 1,350 RP. Those paper airplanes give him a classroom problem to deal with during the recall.
Battle Professor also occupies a good space between Graves’s extremes. He remains human and expressive, unlike Praetorian, but the outfit gives him a more specific role than Hired Gun. The crisp uniform makes the absurd weapon funnier. It is easy to imagine a room falling silent when this teacher walks in.
Do not choose it expecting Sentinel’s full new voice performance. The current files retain the base voice bank with an additional skin-specific event for Collateral Damage. That is a narrower change than Sentinel’s extensive new set of lines and interactions.
It takes third because the classroom identity is strong enough to justify the transformation. Pool Party delivers the simpler joke; Battle Professor gives Graves a role you can enjoy even when the novelty of the costume has worn off.
2. Sentinel Graves

Sentinel is the option for someone who wants the most extensive character treatment. The white collar, black-and-gold armor, and luminous relic cannon make Graves look recruited into an organization with expensive equipment. The beard and rough expression keep him from looking entirely respectable.
Riot’s July 2021 PBE announcement listed new voice-over, models, effects, sound, and animations including a recall, at 1,820 RP. The voice is the important distinction from most of this ranking: Sentinel has its own performance and champion interactions, not just a themed gun.
Old preview criticism needs to be read alongside the final developer update. Riot fixed a missing reload animation, aligned the reload sound with the animation, and added a post-recall fountain animation and sound. Those comments describe work completed during development, not reasons to assume the same issues remain.
The character survives the grandeur. In Riot’s skin story, Graves joins the effort to save the world because it contains things he still wants to rob. The expensive white gun has not suddenly made him selfless. That is more enjoyable than treating the outfit as a complete conversion into a noble hero.
Sentinel is the better choice than Crime City when new voice lines and animation work are your main reason for buying a skin. It finishes second because the oversized relic and formal armor put more distance between Graves and his practical criminal identity. Crime City does less, but almost every visible decision suits him.
1. Crime City Graves

Crime City has the most convincing answer to the question of what Graves should wear with a different gun. The flat cap, red vest, dark coat, and gloves suggest someone who has dressed for criminal business. The round drum below the weapon echoes that organized-crime setting without turning the gun into a fantasy sculpture.
There is a real cosmetic distinction beyond the clothes. Riot’s current client data assigns Crime City its own basic-attack and critical-attack sound events alongside Graves’s standard voice. That supports a different gun sound, not a claim that attacks fire faster or become easier to cancel.
Keeping the familiar voice suits this costume. Graves already sounds like the well-dressed criminal pictured here; he needs a change of clothes, not a different personality.
Compared with Sentinel, Crime City offers less spectacle and fewer new character features. The gun looks usable, the outfit has a purpose, and nothing in the design asks you to forget who Graves was before he changed clothes. Compared with Hired Gun, it keeps the professionalism but adds a distinct place and period.
Crime City is the outfit to choose if you want Graves to remain an outlaw. Pick Sentinel for the new voice and larger makeover. A different attack sound can be part of your preference, but "pay to win" is not the reason to choose either skin.
