Crime City Braum brings a bank door to a robbery and still looks pleased to see everyone. The enormous lock, rolled sleeves, and smiling mustache put it first among the best Braum skins. His poro accomplices help. For a shield that belongs in a heroic legend rather than a police report, choose Dragonslayer.
All nine standalone PC skins are ranked below, including Grill Master and Victorious. My preference is for a recognizable Braum carrying an outrageous object. Santa’s chimney works beautifully; Sugar Rush’s head-to-toe confectionery is a harder sell. That distinction matters more here than how elaborate the costume gets.
Verified September 6, 2026 against Riot’s inventory, individually inspected art, and documented cosmetic features. RP figures are historical references. Check the client for the current price and offer; a catalog entry or legacy label does not guarantee stock. The ranking concerns design, not improved blocking or gameplay.
Which Braum skin fits your taste?
The official Braum page lists the same nine skins. Riot’s 51 chroma records are palette variants, not extra places in this ranking. Victorious is a separate reward skin; the current roster has no Prestige edition.
1. Crime City Braum

The door looks heavy enough to have come straight out of a bank wall. Its huge turning handle and thick gold-colored rim sell that weight; this is much funnier than painting coins on a normal shield. Braum’s shirt and dark vest are restrained by comparison. Your eye goes to the door, then to the grin beside it.
The poros are in on the job. One carries a gun, another a gold bar. Braum still looks friendly, which is a wonderful expression for someone leaving a bank in this state. The costume changes what that familiar smile means without covering it up.
Riot’s 2018 announcement, archived under the old Mafia Braum name, described spell effects with gems, coins, and gold, new spell sounds, and a poro-assisted lock-picking recall. It announced 1,350 RP. The heist theme extends beyond the splash and the model.
The current animation set also assigns dedicated clips to Unbreakable’s shield states, the ultimate, dance, jokes, and recall. This gives the skin a broader animation package than several of the newer alternatives below.
The possible sticking point is Braum himself: this grinning criminal is a long way from a selfless protector. Pick Dragonslayer if you want the shield changed but the heroic role intact.
2. Santa Braum

Of course Braum could carry all the presents himself. The open red coat, white beard, and thick fur make Santa an easy fit, but the chimney is what earns second place. Lights run around the brickwork, with a stocking and bell adding detail. The big slab has become something that belongs beside a man handing out gifts.
The current files include dedicated homeguard, joke, death, and recall clips, and the audio definition has a Santa SFX bank. There is considerable animation work to go with the costume.
Riot’s Snowdown 2016 announcement, preserved in this archive, listed Santa at 1,350 RP as legacy content. Everything about the costume is Christmas. I like that commitment, but Crime City is easier to recommend if you do not want a holiday attached to your choice.
3. Dragonslayer Braum

Dragonslayer has the most threatening shield in the set. Horns sweep back from the head, scales catch the red light, and the mouth is full of fire. Braum keeps his uncovered face. That makes the dragon an object wielded by a familiar hero, rather than an excuse to turn him into a monster.
The archived Riot release passage describes a fireball from the shield and rock-and-lava effects for the ultimate. The current skin definition retains themed visual and sound resources, while the animation set includes a custom taunt, joke, and recall. Serious armor does not mean an absence of extra emotes.
Dark armor and red fire lose some of the warmth I like in the top two. For someone who finds Santa too seasonal and Crime City too silly, that is a reason to put Dragonslayer first.
4. El Tigre Braum

El Tigre’s mask leaves the important part alone: the enormous mustache still stretches across his smile. The eye openings, gold belt, and open-armed pose make him a wrestler playing to the crowd. He looks delighted to be there.
Galetta’s developer post, retained in the January 2015 PBE cycle archive, documents golden tiger/wrestling particles, spell sounds, and new recall and respawn animations. It also corrects the initial 975 RP announcement to an intended 1,350 RP, specifically citing the custom respawn in the price explanation. The current animation files still have dedicated respawn, recall, and turret-attack clips.
Choose the wrestler if you want the playfulness without a kitchen or Christmas scene. The mask changes the face more than Crime City’s haircut or Santa’s beard, but it belongs to a performance rather than concealing Braum for the sake of a helmet.
5. Grill Master Braum

The oven mitt makes this work. Braum is serving food, not just standing near an oversized appliance. Tied-up red hair, overalls, striped socks, and a towel give him a complete host’s outfit. The enormous cooking station exaggerates a job he already looks happy to do.
Riot’s March 2025 PBE post lists custom models, effects, sounds, and recall. The current animation set also contains dedicated taunt, laugh, joke, and barbecue-rolling clips, giving the comedy support beyond a new prop.
This is the alternative to Santa for a generous Braum without a calendar theme. I leave it fifth because the ordinary overalls and shorts cannot quite match the appliance for interest. The top costumes give his face or clothing a stronger part in the joke.
6. Victorious Braum

Victorious matches its blue-violet crystalline shield with gold framework and layered armor. White fur and the mustache retain familiar details, but the armored figure looks more imposing than approachable. If the food and holiday skins make Braum too casual for your taste, this is the opposite extreme.
Riot’s April 2026 PBE post lists custom models, VFX, SFX, animations, and recall. The current animation set identifies custom taunt and recall clips, rather than a full attack-and-movement replacement.
Victorious belongs in this comparison as a reward, not a shop pick. Riot announced Braum for the first season in January 2026. The 26.8 notes put Season 1’s end at April 28, 2026, 23:59:59 local server time and say the 15-ranked-win mission resets with Season 2. Later-season wins do not reopen that reward period.
If you earned it, the imposing shield is reason enough to use it. Sixth place is a preference for more expressive costumes, not an instruction to replace your reward with a paid skin.
7. Pool Party Braum

The hat and round glasses are unmistakably dad-at-the-beach. Bamboo and tropical drinks replace heavy metalwork; the bare torso avoids trying to turn swimwear into armor. This is a relaxed holiday Braum, not another fantasy warrior wearing blue.
That styling was intentional. Riot Dead Thief’s final response in the May 2021 PBE thread kept the awkward-dad direction while adjusting W’s visual treatment and evening out the model’s tan. The announcement listed new effects, sounds, recall, and 1,350 RP. Old requests to change the glasses should not be confused with changes Riot agreed to make.
I prefer Grill Master’s mitt, towel, and work clothes to the beach accessories. Pool Party is easygoing, but the glasses hide some of the facial expression that carries the higher-ranked skins.
8. Braum Lionheart

Lionheart looks like a knight from an illustrated adventure. Rounded blue armor and an open face keep him friendly, while the little helmeted poro prevents the equipment from becoming anonymous. It is modest beside Victorious’s jeweled ceremony, and that is part of its appeal.
Riot Nurse Flan’s November 2015 PBE post, preserved here, announced a new model and little knight poro at 750 RP. The current definition keeps base animation and audio, including the recall, while assigning a few shield-specific visual resources. The costume gets a limited visual treatment, not a new sound or animation package.
Lionheart suits the reader who wants a friendly adventurer in blue armor. I find the costume less memorable than the top picks, but it is a sensible place to stop if their jokes or jeweled armor are what put you off.
9. Sugar Rush Braum

Sugar Rush turns the whole man into confectionery. The tall hat, shoulders, pink costume, and shield all come from the same candy world. The cream-colored mustache survives, but the frills overwhelm the ordinary, friendly giant I like beneath the outfits.
There is plenty of work behind the theme. Riot KiWiKiD’s 2019 PBE post, archived in the 9.24 cycle, describes a cream-filled, chocolate-dipped waffle, new spell effects and sounds, and a poro recall at an intended 1,350 RP. The current resources also include two recall-specific voice events alongside the base voice bank. That is extra recall voice work, not a whole new script.
Put Sugar Rush higher if you want the person transformed as thoroughly as the shield. The dessert hat and pink armor change Braum himself much more than Grill Master’s work clothes do. For a full candy-world costume, the waffle is only the start.
