9 Best Cassiopeia Skins: Spirit Blossom or Eternum?

Spirit Blossom wins for elegance; Eternum is the stronger monster makeover. All nine Cassiopeia skins ranked by their serpent designs and documented cosmetic features.

For an elegant Cassiopeia, choose Spirit Blossom. For a creature you would not want to meet in a corridor, choose Eternum. Spirit Blossom is our best Cassiopeia skin overall, but the gap between these two is mostly about how human you want the serpent to look.

Cassiopeia’s tail occupies too much of her design to judge a skin by its face and headpiece alone. Jade Fang makes her look like the keeper of a dangerous ritual; Prestige Mythmaker gives the coils the same ornamental care as the clothes. Even Desperada has a proper rattlesnake idea beneath the hat.

We checked all nine standalone PC skins against Riot’s Data Dragon 16.17.1 roster on September 5, 2026. The 28 chroma records are not extra entries. This is an editorial design ranking, with in-game feature claims drawn separately from Riot’s developer posts and client definitions. A dramatic splash does not establish smoother casting or a competitive advantage.

Start with the version of Cassiopeia you want

    SkinMain attractionThe compromise
    1. Spirit BlossomPale scales, a fan, and floral spell detailsKeeps a recognizably human upper body
    2. EternumAn alien-machine serpent with themed spell audioTrades softness for hard edges
    3. Jade FangJade serpent ornaments and a ritualistic identityRetains the base combat sound bank
    4. Prestige MythmakerFlowing green ornament and an elaborate tailMore ceremonial than threatening
    5. CovenA cold aristocrat with a predatory streakThe head and shoulders outshine the tail

    1. Spirit Blossom Cassiopeia: elegance without losing the snake

Spirit Blossom Cassiopeia holds an open fan above pale scaled coils, wearing a purple sash amid spectral snakes and falling petals
The pale scales matter as much as the fan: Spirit Blossom gives the whole serpent a softer palette. Image: Riot Games.

Spirit Blossom’s best decision is the light tail. The pale scales give the long body a presence of its own beside the purple sash and dark hair. She has ornaments at her head and waist, but the coils do not disappear into an unremarkable dark mass underneath them. That balance puts her first.

The fan adds a more casual kind of authority than Coven’s crown. In the splash, Cassiopeia looks as though she has already decided how this meeting will end and is waiting for you to catch up. The spectral snakes behind her supply the threat that her unhurried pose leaves unstated.

The floral theme also has evidence beyond the illustration. RiotKateyKhaos’s July 2020 PBE post lists new model work, visual effects, sound effects, and a recall animation. Its final update added pink to Petrifying Gaze, adjusted the flower’s size and color, strengthened its initial glow, and brightened the fading textile pattern. Twin Fang received color and brightness changes plus subtle trails and petals.

Petals on Twin Fang and a flower on the ultimate connect the spells to the clothing. That is a more appealing use of the theme than changing everything to the same shade of purple.

The same post quoted 1,350 RP in July 2020. That is a historical reference, not a current shop check. Choose Spirit Blossom if you want a refined version of Cassiopeia. If keeping so much of the human face and torso is precisely what you dislike, Eternum deserves the first slot on your own list.

    2. Eternum Cassiopeia: the most convincing creature makeover

Eternum Cassiopeia with a red face and silver blade-like head armor rises above a dark segmented tail threaded with red energy
Eternum carries the alien-machine design from Cassiopeia’s head armor into the edges of her tail. Image: Riot Games.

Eternum turns Cassiopeia into a single engineered creature. The silver blades around the head repeat in the ridges down her coils, with red surfaces exposed between the armor. Those hard plates make the tail look like a moving weapon rather than a soft body wearing futuristic clothes.

That makes the human outline more unsettling. You can still recognize the face and outstretched hands, but neither looks comfortably separate from the machinery. Compared with Coven, which dresses Cassiopeia as a particularly dangerous noblewoman, Eternum feels further removed from the person underneath the skin.

Riot’s original description supports that direction. In the August 22, 2017 announcement by Riot Time Wizard, preserved by Surrender at 20, the developer described an alien queen with silver-and-ruby model work, red-and-purple effects across her kit, alien-tech sounds for her skills, and a new recall. The post also quoted 1,350 RP, subject to change. Eternum and Spirit Blossom therefore had the same announced price; the reason to prefer one is the makeover, not an assumed higher tier.

All those cutting edges and red seams give Eternum a harshness that Spirit Blossom avoids. The fan and flowers may be the things you want from a Cassiopeia skin; Eternum gives them up completely. It is our choice when changing the creature matters more than preserving the woman.

    3. Jade Fang Cassiopeia: the ritual is the point

Jade Fang Cassiopeia wears a crimson headpiece crowned by two jade serpent heads as green magic curls around her dark coils
Jade Fang’s paired serpent ornaments and dark coils make its green magic feel ceremonial, not festive. Image: Riot Games.

The two green serpent heads above Cassiopeia’s face are the hook. They turn the headpiece into a second set of watching creatures, while the deep red framing keeps the green from washing out the entire costume. Below it, the darker coils and plated belly give the bright upper silhouette somewhere to settle.

There is a good reason the splash resembles an invocation. Riot’s current skin biography makes Jade Fang an adherent of a jade dragon who guards its rituals and carries a fragment of its power. This is a sinister religious figure, not just Cassiopeia attending a brightly colored celebration.

Jade Fang gives parts of all four spells their own visual effects, beyond the costume change. Those assignments appear in Riot’s version-16.17 skin definition. Its animation definition also includes a dedicated recall, with a corresponding custom recall sound in the audio setup.

The audio upgrade is narrower: the setup retains Cassiopeia’s base combat sound bank. Jade Fang’s custom recall sound is not the broad skill-audio makeover Riot announced for Eternum. Choose it for the ritual, the jade creatures, and the extra visual work around an older Cassiopeia foundation.

The twin serpents are the reason Jade Fang edges out Prestige Mythmaker. Prestige is the more elaborate fashion piece, but the creatures framing Jade Fang’s face tell a better story about Cassiopeia herself.

    4. Prestige Mythmaker Cassiopeia: ornament that reaches the coils

Prestige Mythmaker Cassiopeia wears a green and gold outfit with flowing ornamental ribbons above a pale scaled tail in a lantern-lit paper landscape
Prestige Mythmaker repeats its flowing ornamental shapes around the torso and along the tail. Image: Riot Games.

Prestige Mythmaker earns its place through the lower half of the design. Green fabric, pale scales, flower shapes, and long pointed ornaments flow together instead of ending abruptly at the waist. The ribbons around her shoulders echo the curves of the tail. Even with plenty of gold trim, it is the movement of those shapes through the illustration that catches the eye.

The bright flower at her chest is the one element we would quiet down. It pulls attention away from the more interesting interplay of green, pale blue, and gold. The rest of the costume already communicates ceremony; it does not need every focal point to compete at once.

Riot’s January 2025 PBE announcement confirms custom model and texture work, visual effects, sound effects, and recall. Those are the features to weigh against Spirit Blossom and Coven, rather than awarding the Prestige label an automatic first place.

This is the better pick than Jade Fang when you want a grand, decorative Cassiopeia instead of a cult figure. She looks at home presiding over the scene, but the polished outfit and ornamental tail do less to suggest a dangerous animal. We prefer more of that threat in the design, which leaves Prestige fourth.

    5. Coven Cassiopeia: a fine villain above the waist

Coven Cassiopeia with long blond hair, a silver crown and dark fitted armor reaches toward a petrified figure beside her coiled tail
Coven’s silver headpiece, blond hair, and dark armor make an effective aristocratic villain. Image: Riot Games.

Coven has one of Cassiopeia’s best faces and one of her least surprising tails. The cold expression and sweeping silver shapes at the shoulders are excellent. Against the long blond hair and dark fitted costume, they suggest someone accustomed to being obeyed. The threatening hand beside the petrified figure completes that character in the splash.

Look lower, though, and the coils contribute less than they do on Eternum or Prestige Mythmaker. They carry the darkness of the costume without providing an equally interesting second focal point. Coven is a strong choice if you judge Cassiopeia mainly by the witch at the top; it slips in this ranking because the serpent deserves more attention.

The development record is unusually useful here. RiotLavenderKira’s original PBE post and July 27, 2021 update announced new model work, VFX, SFX, and recall. After feedback, the developer explicitly said the tail would not be adjusted because it matched the concept. The update instead targeted Miasma: recoloring its flowers and revising the cast and missile sounds.

Choose Coven over Spirit Blossom for the colder, more openly cruel character. Its commanding upper half may be enough to win you over, even if you share our reservations about the coils.

    6. Bewitching Cassiopeia: enjoy the costume party

Bewitching Cassiopeia with short blue hair, a large purple witch hat and a spellbook curls a blue-purple tail beside a floating pumpkin
The oversized hat and pumpkin make Bewitching unmistakably playful, while the blue-purple tail keeps the palette connected. Image: Riot Games.

Bewitching is the least solemn of the newer choices. The enormous hat, short blue hair, spellbook, and toothy pumpkin commit to a party costume. The purple-and-blue coils carry those colors through the body, so the tail does not look borrowed from a different skin even with so much happening above it.

Its cheerful expression is the bigger change than any one accessory. Cassiopeia usually looks imperious or predatory. Here she looks pleased with her own mischief. That makes Bewitching a useful alternative when you already own one of the serious designs and want something with a different mood.

The October 2022 Riot PBE thread confirms custom model work, VFX, SFX, and recall. Its final update raised the ultimate’s sound-effect volume and altered the fang visual that indicates poison. Those are confirmed refinements, not evidence that the skin makes an ultimate easier to land.

The hat and book would work on almost any witch; Jade Fang’s serpent ornaments feel more specific to Cassiopeia. Still, Bewitching makes a sensible second skin alongside Coven: one cruel aristocrat, one cheerful troublemaker. You would be choosing between moods instead of two similar dark costumes.

    7. Siren Cassiopeia: keep the sea monster simple

Siren Cassiopeia with blue skin and dark silver armor rests a hand beside purple scales and a pale plated tail in underwater ruins
Blue skin and purple scales make Siren one continuous marine creature rather than a human costume on a snake. Image: Riot Games.

Siren has a useful advantage over several richer designs: the upper and lower body clearly belong to the same creature. Blue skin, dark armor, purple scales, and the pale underside of the tail suggest a marine serpent without needing a pile of props. The shell-like ridges around the head and chest finish the idea.

Siren’s current client definition uses the base sound and voice banks and the base animation set. The marine transformation is in the character design; it does not include a new watery recall or ocean-themed dialogue.

That narrower scope is easy to accept if the blue creature design is exactly what you want. It is harder to recommend Siren over Spirit Blossom as a general upgrade, because Spirit Blossom also brings documented spell and recall changes. Siren finishes above the other two older costumes for making Cassiopeia herself look less human, not for being more elaborate.

    8. Desperada Cassiopeia: a rattlesnake with a hat

Desperada Cassiopeia wears a broad western hat and metal claws above a patterned rattlesnake tail in a desert scene
The patterned coils and visible rattle give Desperada a champion-specific idea underneath the western outfit. Image: Riot Games.

The hat gets noticed first; the rattle makes the skin worth a second look. A desert outlaw with a rattlesnake body is a neat fit for Cassiopeia, and the mottled tail gives the western clothing a reason to be there. Her metal claws also help her look armed without awkwardly putting a revolver in either hand.

The upper costume is less convincing. The heavy metal plates at the waist and belly can overpower the more natural scale pattern. Siren’s colors connect the body more neatly, while Desperada sometimes looks like two good costume ideas fastened together.

The current implementation retains base voice, sound banks, and animations. The western idea lives in the model and outfit. Do not mistake the giant flying snake painted in the splash for proof of a new projectile shape.

Desperada is an appealing personal pick if the rattle and outlaw theme are the attraction. Jade Fang is the better next comparison if you want a similarly prominent headpiece plus custom spell visuals and recall work.

    9. Mythic Cassiopeia: the familiar gorgon

Mythic Cassiopeia in a white and blue Greek-inspired outfit with a gold headpiece and green laurel leaves rises above dark coils near a petrified warrior
Mythic is the Greek-inspired gorgon skin, not the Prestige Mythmaker edition. Image: Riot Games.

Mythic dresses Cassiopeia in the visual language of an ancient Greek legend: a laurel headpiece, draped white cloth, blue trim, gold ornament, and a garden’s worth of unfortunate stone visitors. It is an obvious fit for a champion who petrifies people, and that is both its strength and its limitation.

The human-looking costume gets most of the new character. The dark tail supports the pose but adds little surprise, especially beside Jade Fang’s ritual imagery or Eternum’s segmented construction. Its client definition retains the base animation set and audio banks, so the name does not imply a sweeping feature upgrade either.

The straightforward gorgon is the reason to choose Mythic. It finishes last because the familiar classical costume gives us less to get excited about than Siren’s blue creature or Desperada’s rattlesnake.

Mythic and Prestige Mythmaker are different purchases

The similar names are easy to confuse. Mythic Cassiopeia is the Greek-inspired skin at number nine. Prestige Mythmaker Cassiopeia is the green-and-gold design at number four. Neither is a chroma for the other, and the current PC roster has no non-Prestige Mythmaker Cassiopeia prerequisite.

Prestige Mythmaker also has a documented Mythic Shop history. Riot listed it as available in the 2025 patch 25.04 notes, then among the departures in patch 25.05. Those dated entries establish a past route, not today’s rotation or price. Check the exact skin name and current client offer before spending currency; our fourth-place ranking is about its design, not a claim that it is currently on sale.
