High Noon Akshan takes first in our ranking of the best Akshan skins. The pale cowboy outfit and oversized, burning gun give him a convincing gunslinger identity, while the rope and airborne pose still suit the champion beneath the costume. Cyber Pop is the closest alternative if you want Akshan’s grin and personality front and center.
Crystal Rose turns him into a romantic show-off, and Three Honors gives him a quieter, more solemn look. All four have a reason to exist. The choice is whether you want to change Akshan’s setting, dress him up, or see a different side of his character.
This ranking favors costume, weapon design, color, and how well the idea fits Akshan, using Riot’s official artwork. Confirmed feature notes come from Riot’s development posts; we do not score untested attack animations, sounds, or gameplay performance. We checked the full PC League roster on September 5, 2026: four skins, excluding base Akshan and chromas. Riot’s Akshan gallery lists the same four.
The four Akshan skins at a glance
| Rank | Skin | Main appeal | The reason to choose something else |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | High Noon Akshan | Pale western outfit and a menacing fiery weapon | The hat and collar hide some of his expression |
| 2 | Cyber Pop Akshan | A playful streetwear makeover with a clear view of his face | The pink and cyan palette is deliberately loud |
| 3 | Crystal Rose Akshan | Formalwear that turns his acrobatics into a romantic entrance | The pastel elegance softens his rogue identity |
| 4 | Three Honors Akshan | Dark clothing and luminous purple ornament | It changes his mood more than his basic look |
1. High Noon Akshan gives the gun top billing

The best detail in High Noon’s splash is the space between the cream clothing and the burning gun. The outfit has long, pale surfaces; the weapon has black metal, orange chambers, and jagged edges. Those materials stay distinct even though the composition is crowded with rope, debris, and muzzle glow.
That separation makes the design work. An all-black costume would push Akshan into the same dark mass as his gun. An all-orange one would compete with it. Here, the hat and broad collar frame his face while the weapon gets the most aggressive shapes.
The western premise also fits without requiring much explanation. Akshan already carries an unusually large firearm and swings from a grapple. A gunslinger suspended over a fight feels like a sensible alternate version of him. The fringed coat makes the movement in the illustration more theatrical without burying him in armor.
There is a tradeoff: the hat brim and high collar obscure part of the face. Akshan’s expression does a lot of work in Cyber Pop and Crystal Rose, so players who like his mischievous charm may prefer those. High Noon puts the weapon and outfit first.
Riot released High Noon Akshan with Patch 26.13 on June 24, 2026. It belongs in the current comparison even if an older list stops at Three Honors. If the western theme is the attraction, our Ashe skin ranking is another relevant comparison.
2. Cyber Pop Akshan keeps the swagger

Cyber Pop’s strongest argument against High Noon is sitting above the jacket: you can see the man enjoying himself. The grin, tinted glasses, and casually shouldered gun give this Akshan a sociable confidence. He looks comfortable in the setting rather than dressed for a theme party.
The pink shirt is an effective choice because it stops the cybernetic equipment from taking over. Cyan trim, a screen at his belt, and the angular firearm establish the technology. The clothes and expression establish the person carrying it.
Choose Cyber Pop if your favorite part of Akshan is the cheerful rogue. Its sci-fi setting is a large departure from base, but the character survives the change. It ranks just behind High Noon because the weapon, clothing, and background compete more aggressively for attention in the art. For someone who likes saturated neon, that busyness may be the selling point.
3. Crystal Rose Akshan makes the entrance part of the joke

Crystal Rose could have been a handsome man standing in a suit. The splash gives it a better premise: Akshan swings through a formal gathering with a rose extended toward the viewer. The impractical entrance suits him as well as the tailoring does.
The pale lavender clothes, mint trim, and purple flowers belong together. Broad lapels keep the jacket from looking like ordinary formalwear, while his loose hair and pose prevent it from becoming stiff. It is the most elegant of the four designs and the easiest recommendation for players who specifically want that softer palette.
It sits third because elegance costs it some danger. The rose gets your attention before the weapon, and the ballroom turns his recklessness into flirtation. That is a successful interpretation, but it is a narrower pitch than High Noon’s gunfighter or Cyber Pop’s streetwise troublemaker. Pick Crystal Rose because you want the romance; do not expect it to look menacing.
The changes extend beyond the suit. Riot’s Crystal Rose development post lists a new model and textures, visual effects, sound effects, and recall animation. It announced a price of 1,350 RP, which is historical pricing rather than a live shop quote. That makes the recall and ability effects useful parts of your preview, even if the outfit is what first caught your eye.
4. Three Honors Akshan is the restrained alternative

Three Honors replaces the open grin with a bowed head and clasped hands. Bronze-brown clothing and a dark cape give the purple shoulder ornaments and weapon room to glow. The splash is the least interested in showing off, which is unusual enough to be appealing on Akshan.
Compared with the other three, the costume stays closer to an adventurer’s outfit. That makes it fourth for a player seeking the biggest visual departure from base. It also makes it worth a look if neon streetwear, pastel formalwear, and western theatrics all feel excessive. A restrained design can be the right choice without winning a ranking that favors a more decisive transformation.
Riot’s Three Honors announcement confirms custom models and textures, visual and sound effects, and a recall animation. Its reward status does not mean you are getting only a recolor. The same post mentions 1,350 RP specifically for the PBE test server; that number is not an offer to buy Three Honors on live servers.
Three Honors has an Honor unlock rule worth checking
Do not dismiss Three Honors because you missed an old reward season. Riot’s Patch 25.04 Honor announcement established a permanent reward on first reaching Honor 5 after that update. It explicitly includes Three Honors Akshan alongside the other listed Honor skins.
That is a documented unlock rule, not a promise about an individual account. Check your collection and the current Riot Honor guide for eligibility or a missing reward. An old instruction to save Honor Tokens should also be checked against that update: Riot announced their conversion to Orange Essence rather than an ongoing token shop.
Before choosing a skin, watch Akshan’s ordinary attacks
A favorite splash is a good shortlist, but Akshan spends the match moving and firing. Before committing to a skin, find a current in-game preview and spend more time on the basic attacks than the recall. Watch the two shots, the returning Avengerang, and a full Heroic Swing. Listen with your usual volume settings.
Those checks answer questions a still image cannot: whether you like the repeated sounds, how the clothing looks at the normal camera distance, and whether the effects suit your taste. Confirm the current price and acquisition route in the client, too. If you already own Three Honors and like its restrained look, preview that first before paying for a different theme.
